The latest evolution of Van Staal spinning reels, the VR series are new and improved for 2021, with a list of feature upgrades and 12 new models. The VR series now feature the VS series patented waterproof sealed carbon fiber drag system, and a solid stainless steel 17-4ph main shaft. This eliminates water intrusion and enhances drag durability, while the main shaft is designed to eliminate flex under load. With a lightweight 6061 aluminum construction and fully sealed body, you can take your VR reel anywhere, in any conditions. They come from the factory with a bail and a bail-less conversion kit (all sizes) so you can fish them however you would like. The stem length on the VR175 and VR200 have been extended to give more freedom between your knuckles and the bail wire.
